Summary of Book:

This book is about a creative little boy named Harold. He finds himself in a circus full of adventures all because of what he can do with his purple crayon. I feel that in the classroom this would be a great book to go along with an art lesson. I would let everyone choose their own color crayon. Then, I would read this book and spark the kids' imaginations. Finally, I would give them a big piece of blank paper and tell them to act like Harold did and create their own world with their crayon. This is great to show imagination and maybe even learn some about the student!
